Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a
Sales Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for coordinating groups and private events, ensuring exceptional service and standards to our clients.
- What you’ll do…
- Handle groups and events enquiries, including internal functions while maintaining close communication with clients and all departments.
- Independently manage your daily schedule, sticking to agreements even with a packed calendar and a full email inbox.
- Keep a clear overview, even when every room in the house is booked, and all lines are buzzing.
- Build strong relationships with internal operations teams and external third parties, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
- Handle groups and private events, managing the booking process from start to finish: from initial proposals, managing contracts, rooming lists to invoicing
- Following up with clients post event to get feedback and secure repeat business where possible.
- Prepare and distribute function sheets on a weekly basis and present them in the operations meeting.
- Building good relationships with clients for repeat business, contacting and probing repeat clients when appropriate and track year on year trends and events to support repeat business.
Qualifications

- Ideally you have experience working within hotel sales, reservations or a similar role; you’re looking for an opportunity to take the next step into a career in Sales.
This is an ideal role for someone already within hospitality but with an interest in the world of Sales and Events.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You’re looking for a challenge and a place where you can be you. Your personality matters more than your CV.
- You have ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail and knows how to stay organised while working at a fast pace
- You’re a people person, great at building strong and lasting relationships. You make a positive impact in the work environment
- You’re confident using systems such as Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience using OPERA Cloud desirable.
