Leydi is a Modern Turkish restaurant bringing the all-day food culture of Istanbul to London from breakfast until late with expertly-prepared mangal meat & fish, heritage grain wood-fired breads, low intervention wines and a sophisticated and fun ambience. Leydi brings the legendary flavours of Istanbul to central London.

We’re on the lookout for a Restaurant Manager to join our Leydi restaurant team at Hyde London City. You will be responsible for the overall running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and making sure guests feel special and eager to come back for more.

What you’ll do…

  • Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do.
  • You’ll support your team by leading by example, keeping them involved and motivated; helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions.
  • Be present on the floor, anticipating guest needs, handling feedback and resolving complaints with care and confidence.
  • Teaming up with the culinary team so that front of house and back of house are working smoothly.
  • Have a firm grip on the P&L and take ownership over the costs of the restaurant business, always striving to find efficient solutions whilst keeping the quality high and the experience top notch.
  • Working closely with the F&B Manager to create and plan initiatives and incentives, alongside a strong understanding of the guest booking and profiling system to drive revenue.
  • Ensure high standards of food and beverage presentation, cleanliness, stock control and compliance with food safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar Restaurant Manager role or Assistant Restaurant Manager role ready to step up in a busy, bustling environment.
  • You understand hospitality, it’s in everything you do.
  • Proven track record managing a large FOH team.
