Your Purpose will be:

  • Working closely with the Director of Reservations, you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through ensuring the effective selling of rooms and suites, whilst communicating with all teams and ensuring a high attention to detail.

You will be accountable for:

  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the reservations team
  • Maximising revenue through ensuring the effective selling of guest rooms
  • Driving a high‑performance culture, setting clear expectations, empowering your team and holding them accountable
  • Ensuring all enquiries are actioned in a timely and efficient manner while meeting all service standards
  • To drive innovation and continuous improvement of the department to ensure a seamless experience for all guest interactions
  • Taking a lead role in the training and development of the reservations team, ensuring standards are in line with LQA, Forbes and the Savoy Standards
  • Liaising and communicating efficiently with the respective hotel departments to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests and teamwork with the Front Office, Sales and Events teams
  • Proactively review and implement processes and procedures
  • Thorough checking and preparation of pre‑arrival reports
  • Schedule and coordinate team shifts to ensure adequate coverage
  • Implementing and overseeing the team’s performance on upselling targets

What you will need to do in this role?

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in supervisory or leader role within Reservations or Rooms Division Operations
  • Proven effective development of others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Highly organised, goal‑oriented and results‑driven
  • Previous experience working with LQA and Forbes
  • Previous experience working with Opera Cloud
