What you will be doing:
- Provide a hands-on approach to the Restaurant operations.
- Ensure that Multi Skilled Team personnel provide the highest standard of customer care.
- Ensure that all food and bar outlets are adequately staffed.
- Ensure that regular performance reviews are being completed in line with company guidelines.
- Drive conference standards and ensure that company guidelines and Standard Operating procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure that all departments under your control have a rolling programme of customer service training for both the management and staff.
- Provide training to all Multi Skilled Team Members.
- Be pro-active in driving both sales and profits within all food and beverage outlets.
- Become an ambassador for the companies Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all staff are fully compliant in their respective departments.
- Ensure that all of the departments under your control are completing their operational equipment stocktakes and that records are maintained.
- Maximise Food and Beverage controls and ensure G.P. is within company requirements.
- Accept full responsibility for the food and liquor stock holding here at the hotel ensuring that losses do not occur.
- Put preventative procedures in place to ensure that stocks are consistent.
- Recruitment and Selection of Multi Skilled staff in liaison with the Operations/Hotel General Manager.
- Promote best practice through motivating staff and good employee relations.
- Ensure that all personnel handling cash are trained and are familiar with the required accounting and company procedures.
- Liaise with the front office and accounts department.
- Ensure that current Food and Beverage operational systems are being maintained.
- Work as a part of the Duty Management Team and ensure that your Supervisors are fully competent and trained in the Duty Management procedures.
- Attend bi-monthly strategic/planning meetings with the General Manager.
- Understand and adhere to infection control, health & safety/COSHH guidelines.

- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
