There is something for everyone: 192 rooms, a bustling ground-floor restaurant, bar and terrace, The Apartment (our unique meeting & events space, a stunning roof-top restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating PLUS our coworking space spread over six floors.
Job Description
- What you’ll do…
- Take full ownership of the day-to-day operation of Albie, leading from the front and setting the tone for service, culture and standards.
- Build, develop and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team through coaching, clear communication and regular feedback.
- Work in close partnership with the kitchen and senior F&B leadership to ensure smooth service, strong collaboration and consistent delivery.
- Manage labour, rotas and payroll in line with budget while ensuring the guest experience is never compromised.
- Own the guest journey end-to-end, proactively handling feedback and turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Oversee training, onboarding and performance management, ensuring the team understands brand values and service expectations.
- Monitor financial performance, stock levels and compliance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Act as an Albie ambassador within the hotel, collaborating with events, sales and wider Hoxton teams.
Qualifications
- What we’re looking for…
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up) in a high-volume, premium restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of building engaged, motivated teams.
- Commercial awareness, with experience managing labour, costs and operational KPIs.
- Confident decision-maker who remains calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Flexible to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and key trading periods.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Passionate about hospitality, service and creating spaces people genuinely love spending time in.
- Down-to-earth, hands-on and aligned with The Hoxton’s informal, people-first culture.
