We’re looking for a Reservations Agent to provide brilliant and genuinely helpful customer service for every guest looking to stay in our London Hoxton hotels. London is where it all began for Hox, and our four sites; The Hoxton, Shoreditch, Holborn, Southwark and Shepherd’s Bush embody the Hoxton mood perfectly.
What you’ll do…
- Manage new and existing individual rooms reservations through telephone, email and website reservations
- Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded
- Keep an eye on our booking channels
- Maximise revenue and identify sales opportunities
- Work with corporate clients/bookers and agents
- Communicate with the Front Office Team or Restaurants Teams to facilitate the guests’ stay
- Step in for the Reservations Supervisor or Manager when needed
What we're looking for...
- A previous experience in hotel reservations is preferred but not mandatory – it’s all about how you contribute to the team!
- Proficiency in another language is a plus (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch)
- You’re great with computers and on the phone
- Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night
- You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
