We are looking for a Host to join the Seabird team at The Hoxton, Southwark. This London borough is known for its colourful history. We have 192 bedrooms and 2 restaurants - Albie & Seabird. Albie is our all-day neighbourhood dining spot, drawing inspiration from the French and Italian Riviera. Seabird is our rooftop restaurant on the 14th floor, boasting an impressive raw bar, London’s longest oyster list and panoramic views of the city.

What you'll do...

  • Provide a genuinely welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, from a Hox welcome, to handling any questions and helping out with requests.
  • Ensure a smooth experience for our guests, occasionally helping out the team on the floor.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

What we're looking for...

  • Previous experience in a busy Front of House role; you genuinely care about making people feel welcome and looked after.
  • Individuals who are looking for a place where they can be themselves; no clones in suits here.
  • Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night.
  • A positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
  • A willingness to leave egos at the door and help get things done.
  • Openness to doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
  • A sense of humour and the ability to share a few laughs.
  • A desire to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.

What's in it for you...

  • Competitive salary including TRON.
  • Up to 28 days holidays (inclusive of bank holidays), pension, and life insurance.
  • A health cash plan to claim money back and access to ways to support your physical & mental wellbeing.
  • Confidential hotline for any support you require and a network of mental health first aiders.
  • Retail & hospitality perks through our partners.
