As our next Reception Team Leader, you would describe yourself as a committed manager with human knowledge, a distinct personality and someone who can work in a structured way. In short: You take care of your guests and your colleagues. When someone is angry, you can turn that over to a smile. When someone has a problem, you solve it. You are the face of Mercure London Bankside.
This Front Office Team Leader will be working both Night and Day shifts and requires great flexibility and an opportunity to develop and coach the team. Provide guidance and support to the Reception team, helping them to achieve their potential and accomplish overall departmental objectives. Assist in effectively running the front office operations with a hands-on approach. Help guests and create positive experiences. Are confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention. Maintain strong working relationships and communicate with all departments. Work duty manager shifts as and when required.
To help you navigate your role, and support your success you will be trained in all front of house related functions and the safety of the property and people. To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English. Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.
