Your purpose will be to exceed guest expectations within our Florist department, assisting with daily tasks in the retail shop, workroom, online orders, and guest communication.

You will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring the flower shop meets hotel brand and 5-star luxury standards.
  • Providing professional service for all guest flower requests.
  • Taking ownership of guest requests to completion.
  • Preparing and delivering guest order requests as a priority.
  • Maintaining display stands and pricing in the flower shop.
  • Assisting with guest orders in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Charging guests through the POS system.
  • Updating guest profiles with requests and preferences.
  • Encouraging upsell and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintaining and monitoring stock levels.
  • Assisting the Savoy Flowers Team with adhoc duties, especially at peak times.
  • Working in a clean and tidy manner, ensuring safety and hygiene.
  • Maintaining amicable relations with other departments.
  • Complying with Food Hygiene and Safety legislation.
  • Acting in accordance with fire, health, and safety regulations.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as instructed by the leadership team.
  • Adhering to all Savoy policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in Luxury London Retail or Hospitality Industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and dynamic speaker, able to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines with quality results.
  • Applicable job-related skills as per Accountable Duties.
