As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will support the pastry team in delivering high-quality pastries and desserts across all dining outlets, including the Rose Lounge, Events, Bistrot, In-Room Dining, and the St James Bar. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you will assist with preparation, production, and presentation, while learning and growing within a creative and professional kitchen environment. You will be expected to uphold the highest hygiene and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organised work area. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods as directed by senior chefs.
- Support with mise en place for daily service and special events.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow instructions precisely and contribute to the smooth running of the pastry section.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations, including COSHH protocols and company standards.
- Ensure all tools and work areas are clean and sanitised before, during, and after service.
- Assist with the organisation and restocking of ingredients and materials.

Qualifications
