As our next Breakfast Cook, you will play an important role in the kitchen team to deliver quality food consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will:
- Prepare breakfast buffet dishes to agreed brand and company standards
- Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and ready for service
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across all kitchen areas
- Follow food safety procedures from storage through to preparation and service
- Manage the stock rotation, deliveries and storage procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a great guest experience
- Take responsibility for preparing staff food during shifts
- Work with the team to ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned following breakfast service
- Carry out any additional kitchen duties as requested
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about food. You should ideally have:
- Previous kitchen experience in a hotel, restaurant or catering environment (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and bank holidays
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
