What you will be doing
- Leading shifts across Reception, Restaurant and Bar operations.
- Ensuring guests receive a warm, friendly and professional experience from arrival through to departure.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of Front Office and Food & Beverage operations.
- Creating memorable guest experiences and resolving guest queries or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Supporting the team during busy service periods and leading by example at all times.
- Driving food and beverage sales opportunities and helping achieve departmental targets.
- Promoting hotel services, brand standards and loyalty programmes.
- Supporting stock control procedures, stock rotation and minimising waste.
- Monitoring bar operations including beer lines, cleanliness and overall presentation.
- Ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, health & safety and licensing compliance are maintained at all times.
- Assisting with training, coaching and development of team members.
- Supporting effective communication between departments including housekeeping, maintenance, reception and kitchen teams.
- Ensuring all operational procedures and security processes are followed correctly.
- Taking ownership of problems and finding solutions quickly and effectively.
- Conducting show rounds and supporting wider hotel operations when required.
- Helping create a positive, motivated and collaborative team environment.
Your experience and skills include
- Previous experience in hospitality
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A flexible and positive “can do” attitude
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence leading and motivating a team
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and licensing regulations
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus
Your team and working environment
You will be a key part of our hotel leadership team and one of the faces of the hotel brand. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with all departments to create a welcoming, fun and professional environment for both guests and team members alike. This role includes a mixture of early and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
