Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. As a Housekeeping supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all guests.

Duties

  • To work close with Head housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned to required standard to complete room checks after housekeepers have cleaned rooms
  • Perform cleaning of guest rooms bathrooms and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness to follow cleaning schedule
  • Dust and polish furniture fixtures and fittings to maintain an appealing environment.
  • To cover Head housekeeper when off this is to open the shift and to complete all tasks sheets for the housekeeping team.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition ensuring they are stocked as needed.
  • Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing walking lifting and bending throughout the shift.
