Old Thorns Hotel & Resort is seeking a Duty Manager to join our team! This role aims to ensure the smooth and safe running of the operational activities within the hotel, ensuring all guests receive high standards of customer service and care.
- Ensure the security of the hotel and guests.
- Ensure the safety of staff and guests with the correct use of equipment and crowd management.
- Understand and enforce the hotel’s Health & Safety, hygiene, accident reporting, fire procedure and COSHH policies and practices.
- Have complete knowledge of fire evacuation procedures and to act as Fire Wardens whilst on duty and to safely evacuate hotel under emergency conditions.
- Hold a Personal Licence for the sale of alcohol and uphold licensing laws.
- Act as a first aider and any first aid responsibilities as requested.
- Provide cover or assistance (including service within any FOH Department, as necessary).
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
- First Aider (Emergency First Aid – essential | Full First Aid, Level 3 - desirable)
- Personal Licence Holder
- Customer Service experience
- Hospitality experience
- Supervising experience
- Previous experience working in a hotel
