Hotel Assistant

Overview

ibis Styles Crewe is looking for outgoing, dependable, welcoming Front of House Team Members to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. We are adding to our team to help cover busy periods and need Guest Service Assistants on a casual zero-hours basis, with a salary of up to 12.21 per hour.

Personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list, and two years experience in a customer-facing hospitality job would make you a strong candidate. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like – the kind of person you’d like to meet after a long day of travelling!

Responsibilities

• Work across the front-of-house operations of the hotel.
• Check guests in and out, run the breakfast service, help set up meeting rooms, and work the bar and restaurant.
• Maintain a great telephone manner and be confident using a computer.
• Be prepared to turn your hand to whatever is needed to ensure our guests have a great stay.
• Possibility of a mix of midweek, weekend, early and late shifts; flexibility in schedule is a big advantage.
• As you’ll be serving alcohol, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Two years experience in a customer-facing hospitality job preferred.
• Open, welcoming attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work across varied front-of-house tasks and use a computer.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to serve alcohol (18+).

Salary & Employment Type

Salary up to 12.21 per hour. Employment Type: Contract (casual, zero-hours basis).
