Job Description
- Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
- Deliveries - Ensuring all deliveries are put away in compliance with food safety and health and safety guidelines.
- Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Compliance with Health and Safety – Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
As a Kitchen Porter, you will help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean. Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors. Our hotel offers 356 rooms, within very close proximity to London Heathrow Airport. The hotel features a restaurant operating for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a large outdoor car park.
