As a Reservations and Groups Sales Coordinator at Novotel London Greenwich, you will be responsible for handling all group enquiries and reservations, managing the booking process from initial enquiry through to final details. You will maximise revenue opportunities by converting leads, upselling services, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience, in line with Accor brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage group bookings (10+ rooms), including leisure, corporate, tour operators, and event-related enquiries.
  • Handle individual and group reservation enquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and communicate with relevant departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping).
  • Prepare group contracts, proformas, and invoices as required.
  • Upsell hotel services and packages to maximise revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.
  • Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and familiarisation trips.
  • Respond promptly to all requests and provide timely follow-up to secure bookings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and events team to cross-sell and support hotel promotions.

Revenue & Reporting

  • Monitor availability and work in line with revenue management strategies.
  • Support with forecasting and reporting on group business trends and performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local market, competitors, and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a reservations, sales, or groups coordination role within hospitality.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficient in Opera (PMS) or similar booking/reservation systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
