This is a multi-skilled role incorporating both Front Office and Food and Beverage Duties in line with the business demands.

As our next Multi-Skilled Team Member, you:

  • Have the ability to multi-task and have a can-do attitude in this exciting fast-paced environment.
  • Are flexible and always ready to assist at any stage of the guests’ stay, from check-in to check-out and everything in between.
  • May work in the Food and Beverage outlets including Breakfast, Bar, Lunch and Dinner and support the Reservations and Back Office Teams when needed.
  • Will be dedicated to continuously improving the quality of the hotel's services.

A little more information: To help you navigate your role, and support your success you will be trained in all front of house related functions and the safety of the property and people. Our hotel offers 141 rooms, and food & beverage facilities. To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English. Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

Job Description: Full-time Multi-Skilled Team Member position at Ibis Glasgow. A varied role combining Front Office and Food & Beverage duties. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, supporting bar operations, and assisting with reservations and back-office tasks. Qualifications / Requirements: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in Hotels is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different hotel departments. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain organised in a fast-paced environment. Positive, proactive can-do attitude. Passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Willingness to learn, develop new skills and complete relevant training. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexible availability to work Front Office and Food & Beverage shifts.
