Lead the Maintenance function at the Hotel providing both a reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and hotels' infrastructure.
- Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
- Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, reduce equipment failure room downtime.
- Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement of maintenance services by highlighting recommending changes where necessary.
- Ensure maintenance is completed with effective use of resources.
- Identification of potential lifecycle deficiencies, produce capital budgets to match lifecycle expectancies.
- Act as the lead operational facilities manager providing a link between hotel, Manager, Regional Technical and UK Technical Services.
- Be the main point of contact for maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours for urgent issues, including attending the hotel when required.
This role is critical to ensuring a high-quality guest experience, maintaining the hotel's reputation, and protecting its physical assets.
Qualifications:
- Formal Qualification in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook).
- 3 years hotel maintenance experience.
- H S trained (IBOSH).
- Ability to read and write risk assessments.
- Energy management.
