Job Description
ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport is growing its team and is looking for a full‑time Night Receptionist (Guest Service Assistant) to work 40 hours per week, with a salary of up to £27,500 per annum plus benefits. This role suits someone who enjoys overnight work, takes pride in delivering great service, and remains friendly, reliable and professional at all times.
You’ll be the main point of contact for guests throughout the night, ensuring they feel welcome, supported and well cared for. Responsibilities include managing arrivals and departures, handling guest enquiries, answering telephone calls and completing basic computer‑based tasks such as reports and system updates.
As part of a busy hotel team, you’ll also support other overnight operations. This may include serving drinks, taking food orders, carrying out security checks, assisting with early continental breakfast set‑up from 4am and helping wherever required to keep the hotel running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone with a warm, approachable personality and strong customer service skills. Previous experience in hospitality or customer‑facing roles is advantageous, and night‑shift experience would be beneficial. You’ll need confidence using a computer, a professional phone manner, flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, and must be 18 or over due to alcohol service.
With over 180 bedrooms, ibis Styles Gatwick Airport is a busy hotel welcoming international travellers, airline crew, families and business guests. As Night Receptionist, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive guest experience and encouraging repeat visits.
In return, we offer competitive pay, a day off for your birthday, hotel staff discounts and genuine opportunities for career development within the wider group.
