We\'re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Conference Coordinator to join our team! In this role you\'ll be the key contact for our conference clients ensuring every event is executed seamlessly from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.

What You\'ll Do

  • Welcome and liaise with clients to ensure event needs are met with excellence
  • Set meeting rooms and break out areas to meet clients expectations paying meticulous attention to layout and equipment requirements
  • Support food & beverage service and maintain conference areas ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth event delivery including coordinating with catering housekeeping and technical support teams
  • Assist Conference Assistant Manager with proposals and quotations for venue catering and accommodation
  • Manage event timelines and schedules ensuring all activities run according to plan
  • Handle last-minute changes and resolve any issues that arise during events with professionalism and efficiency
  • Coordinate and oversee audio-visual requirements for presentations and workshops

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record of client satisfaction
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
