Night Auditor – Job Overview
As our next Night Auditor, you will be part of a team delivering warm hospitality during night shifts. You will support hotel operations, manage data and guest interactions, and help ensure a safe and smooth operation through the night.
Responsibilities
- Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Carry out the Night Audit and manage daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and complete daily revenue postings.
- Prepare and distribute relevant reports to internal departments.
- Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
- Support hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.
- Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests while assisting with hotel operations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including the front entrance, lobby, bar, and staff areas.
- Follow the hotel's fire safety procedures and assist with emergency situations when needed.
- Be the face of Ibis, consistently conveying a positive and professional image.
- Assist in promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity.
Qualifications
- Ability to use Property Management System software such as OPERA Cloud
- Competency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Finance team is advantageous
- A friendly, guest-focused personality with a passion for hospitality
- Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage night shifts responsibly
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Availability to work night shifts (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends
- Good level written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures as well as guest confidentiality

Additional Information
To help you navigate your role, you will be trained in all front of house related functions and the safety of the property and people.
By joining us as a Night Auditor, you will become part of a friendly team of 40 talents.
To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English.
Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.
