Ossett Academy & Accord Sixth Form are seeking to appoint an exceptional Reflections Manager to join the wider academy inclusion team. Applicants must be dedicated and enthusiastic as they will co‑ordinate and manage the pupils in the Academy’s Reflection spaces and ensure that high expectations are upheld.

You will manage the development of this provision to meet with a wide range of needs of a diverse group of pupils and promote strategies that are designed to reduce the number of fixed and permanent exclusions and ensure pupil entitlement to an appropriate curriculum is met. You will be required to ensure that the Academy’s Rewards and Consequences Policy is being adhered to at all times whilst undertaking day to day management of the Reflections resource.

The role will involve liaising with other pastoral staff on pupil progress and keeping accurate records of pupils attending the provision ensuring that appropriate strategies have been explored and all reasonable adjustments have been made. The successful candidate ideally will have experience working with children and young people and will be able to build rapport with them as the role will include mentoring pupils in order to improve their behaviour.

If you have the passion and drive, then we would love to hear from you. The position is on a full-time basis working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day.
