Accordia Care is looking for a committed and exceptionally driven Deputy Manager for a supported living service situated in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This role entails supporting and assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained.

Working within Health & Social Care can at times be high-pressure and unpredictable; there are times when the individuals that we support will be in crisis. It is essential that the individual applying for this role understands this and can keep a calm and professional demeanour whilst supporting those in need.

We support and help some of the most disadvantaged adults in society with a learning disability and autism, with the focus being on improving their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Requirements:

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a supported living setting, ideally providing support to clients with forensic mental health challenges.
  • Extensive experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Level 5 Qualifications in Health and/or Social Care in Adult Care or commitment to pursue it.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC requirements.
  • Displaying a profound grasp on safeguarding, compliance and the highest care standards, ensuring a commitment to ethical and responsible care provision.
  • Have a track record of effectively leading and motivating care teams, fostering a culture of encouragement and teamwork.
  • Familiar with liaising with clients about services users.
