Our client, a reputable Van and Truck dealership selling new and used commercial vehicles and providing after sale servicing, is seeking a Night shift HGV Technician and Day shift HGV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, defects, MOT preparation, general maintenance and servicing of a large customer base, made up of units and trailers.
- Role: Night shift HGV Technician
- Salary: Up to £53,664 per annum
- Hours: Mon to Thu or Tue to Fri nights 6pm to 6am
- Location: Northampton
- Role: Day shift HGV Technician
- Salary: £44,000 - £49,000 per annum
- Hours: 4 days on 4 days off / 4 days on 3 days off
- Location: Northampton
Requirements:
- Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LCV / HGV
- Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
- The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
- Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationships to deliver required information in a timely clear manner.
- All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
- HGV Class I would be a benefit.
