The Role
- Responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing and repairs across customer sites, ensuring vehicles remain compliant, safe and operational.
- Maintenance inspections on trailers and HGV trucks.
- MOT preparation work.
- Fault finding, servicing and general repairs.
- Attending service van jobs throughout the working week.
- Travelling to customer locations and working independently.
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
- Representing the company professionally while working on customer sites.
The Ideal Candidate
- Reliability and self-motivation are essential for this position.
- Qualified or time-served HGV or Trailer Technician.
- Trailer and/or LCV experience will also be considered.
- Experience working in a mobile, independent or recovery-based role is highly desirable.
- Highly reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Professional and customer-focused.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
- Full UK driving licence required.
