An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a successful and growing automotive group in Bradford. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working within a professional and supportive workshop environment. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle preparation to the highest standards, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance
- Carry out mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
- Conduct vehicle health checks (VHCs)
- Prepare vehicles to a high standard
- Complete MOT testing (if qualified)
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
- IMI Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- At least 2 years' experience in the motor trade
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
Desirable (but not essential)
- MOT Tester licence
- IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles
- IMI F-Gas qualification
- Main dealer or franchised dealership experience
