About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of English to begin in September 2026 at Ossett Academy & Accord Sixth Form. The successful teacher will shape the curriculum in line with their passions, develop creative lessons that meet the needs of a diverse pupil body and ensure alignment with industry standards. Duties include delivering inspirational teaching, fostering a love of literature, achieving excellent academic outcomes, and supporting pupils at all ability levels.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver curriculum aligned with EAL and industry standards.
- Develop and implement engaging, student‑centred lessons.
- Monitor and promote pupil achievement at all ability levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues across subjects and academies within the Trust.
