Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available in the HR Central Team for an enthusiastic and driven Administration Assistant.
In this hands-on, operational role as HR Administration Assistant, you will carry out a range of administrative duties, including those related to safer recruitment and acting as the first point of contact for the HR Team. You will receive and deal with telephone calls and enquiries in a courteous manner and manage the busy HR email inbox. You will respond to routine enquiries with support from HR colleagues and complete administrative tasks such as drafting letters, contracts, communications and minutes to a high standard and must have exemplary attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience of working in a HR environment and will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident in their approach.
Although the substantive post is Full Time, Full Year, applications will be considered from candidates who are seeking part time arrangements and the flexibility of Term Time working. We do however require a minimum of 30 hours per week, and Term Time plus 15 days. Please state on your application form if you wish to be considered as a part time applicant.
The full-time hours for the role is working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day. As referenced above, we will consider appropriate alternatives to this working pattern. Please specify on your application form.
This position is temporary in the first instance until 31 August 2026.
