The predicted salary is between 9.9 - 12.1 £ per hour.
Contract: This post will be to cover annual leave, sickness, absences, etc, on an 'as and when required' basis
To allow us to continue to provide a consistent and valued service to all our patients and their families in certain areas of the hospice, we are looking to add to our existing bank staff for our Drivers on an ‘as and when needed’ basis covering periods of annual leave and other absences.

Main Duties of the Role
- Check IPU requirements for pharmacy - e. g. Specimens, Blood, CDs, stores, etc
- Check if kitchen is in need of anything.
- Check if community Hub is in need of Transport on the day, making sure you have wheel chair and oxygen requirements.
- Checking daily for any other patient requirements.
- At 3pm mail to be dropped of at Royal Mail sorting office.
- Check throughout the day for IPU requirements.
- Clean Vehicle each time after picking up/dropping off a patient.
- Assist with daily Generator Testing.
- Setting up our Resource Centre for various groups who attend, e. g. setting up tables and chairs.
- Assist in any other Maintenance cycle work as per attached job description.
- Deliver/uplift equipment /clean before entering hospice.
- Thursday store day from Pecos at RAH Hospital.
- Clean/wash Vehicle weekly.
- Check tyres Daily and keep Weekly record.
- Help out at shops if needed.
