The Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Lead you will produce and request the release of all batch documentation for packing production, liaising closely with planning, QA and warehouse functions to issue BPRs to packing lines.
- Liaise with the planning function and generate Batch Packing Records (BPRs) and supporting documentation, aligned to production scheduling, enabling timely picking & kitting of production orders.
- Fully conversant with eBPR and associated SAP requirements. Control of ProcessXE and SAP systems to generate batch production orders.
- Generate and manage all batch labels for packing line requirements well in advance of required time.
- Validate and complete final checks on all BPRs reviewing data input and compliance to GDP following packing process and submit to QA within pre-determined timescales.
- Manage returns of batch documentation to relevant Operations person(s) should further information be required.
- Working with QA, take ownership and control of line logbooks (returns, issuing, etc).
- Assist with effective generating then timely close out of Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs, including providing support (i.e. data collation) to help with batch investigations. Job holder to be fully conversant with QMS system as a key dept user.
- Assist in the preparation, review and issuing of other general site documents and controls aside from batch production records. Typically this will include support with SOPs, COSHH, SSOWs, etc.
- Perform data analysis and reports to Head of Packing to support CI initiatives and WCM (World Class Manufacturing)
- Assist in the preparation and participation in any audits or relevant visits.
The Person
- Experience of working within a Production function, ideally within Pharma manufacturing
- with previous experience of Pharma industry documentation and compliance
- Experience of using electronic information management systems
- Proven administration/ organiser skills and ability to work in a logical manner and under pressure
- High level of attention to detail and ability to produce a consistent level of accurate information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective team player
- Competent with standard IT packages e.g. Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Resilient, resourceful, pragmatic and energetic
- Flexible work ethic to meet the demands of the business
