The Role supports the Warehouse Supervisor in the delegation of their duties, ensuring a focused approach to the GDP of products, helps maintain company compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative HSE requirements and company policies and procedures. Ensures compliance at all times whilst receiving, handling, packaging, distributing pharmaceutical products and packaging materials via both Goods in and Goods Out Procedures.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have a flexible approach for shift cover for holidays and production requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic problems and liaise within own and other departments to resolve issues successfully.
- Support the continuous improvement process and ensure successful implementation of agreed changes.
- May act as a departmental representative in meetings.
- Support in company and external audits, conduct risk assessments (if appropriately trained) and work to ensure compliance across the site.
- Apply up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, legal and HSE requirements relevant to their function.
- Promote teamwork and display can-do behaviours in all tasks and interactions.
- Ensure that H/S requirements are followed at all times.
- Be trained to use dispensing equipment and adhere to packing planning requirements to achieve packing hall priorities.
The Person:
- Commercial warehouse experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cGMP, cGDP and HSE.
- Work within established processes and procedures with the freedom to use reasonable initiative while remaining compliant with regulatory and GMP requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience of processing customer orders for a national and international customer base.
- Experience of working within a busy time-sensitive environment, working under pressure while effectively prioritising workloads.
- Ability to challenge existing processes.
- Able to effectively and compliantly review, amend and draft SOPs.
