With a strong focus on Oncology, Urology, and Immunology , you’ll play a key role in ensuring our innovative medicines and other portfolio medicines are accessible to patients across all UK healthcare systems. In this high-impact role, you’ll: Develop and implement regional market access strategies that drive product access and adoption. Build and maintain strong relationships with key NHS stakeholders, including Integrated Care Systems (ICSs)/ Health Boards (HBs), Cancer Alliances, and Health Innovation Networks . Shape local policy and patient pathways by delivering compelling value propositions tailored to local and national healthcare priorities. Translate NHS and government policies into actionable insights to identify new service opportunities and engage on government affairs, where required. Facilitate engagement with Patient Advisory Groups to inform pathway redesign and improve patient outcomes. Lead sub-national access initiatives to ensure the portfolio is optimally placed on formularies and commissioning guidance . Create tailored value materials such as Budget Impact Models, Service Impact Models, business cases and value dossiers to drive value and access . Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, and Communications to ensure alignment and consistency across access initiatives. The Person: Significant experience in a similar Market Access or healthcare partnership management role in the UK pharma market, including within the area of Oncology / Immunology. Thorough understanding of the NHS and Government organisations, including policies, priorities, medicine funding mechanisms, reimbursement processes, ICSs and commissioning structures. Experience of influencing positive national formulary decisions and guideline implementation. Experience working with Patient Advisory Groups and government representatives desirable. Demonstrable success implementing Market Access strategies resulting in product uptake. Experience developing business cases, value propositions, budget / service impact models for speciality medicines. Knowledge of the ABPI code (and certification) and other relevant UK compliance frameworks. Able to acquire product and disease area knowledge to facilitate effective customer comms. Strong commercial acumen – excellent strategic, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills (written and spoken), confident building relationships at all levels, translating technical information for different audiences and influencing and negotiation skills. Good project management skills – able to manage multiple workstreams to meet deadlines and maintain an eye for detail, even in a complex and fast-paced working environment. Degree-level qualification in a business, marketing or life science related subject beneficial.
