**This role will be based ON SITE 5 days per week** The Role: Responsible for all data privacy and Compliance systems matters within Accord EMENA. To support the business in a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters affecting the companies and business areas of the Accord Group. Primary responsibility for the Accord Group’s data privacy matters across the EMENA region Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of complex (ii) train and keep awareness of data privacy requirements within the organization; (iii) support with the evaluation and response process in the event of a Subject Access Request (SAR); (iv) support interaction with data privacy authorities; (v) oversee the process to review any data breaches and ensure that these are managed appropriately and in a timely manner. Establishing, and maintaining appropriate Data Processing Agreements , and consent documentation, to support the Accord Group’s data processing activities. Act as the key point of contact for privacy matters (including ability to provide expert advice to different functions of the organization such as: HR, Compliance, Commercial, Marketing, etc). The Person: Degree in Law. - Proven years of experience as a lawyer. Substantial experience in GDPR matters DPO experience Exposure to multi-national environment Additional post-graduate studies in commercial law, competition law or life-sciences law.
