ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centered disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers in our supported independent living arrangements across multiple locations in suburbs of Melbourne like Brunswick and Frankston to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.

The support worker's role and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the community
  • Providing positive behaviour support to our clients
  • Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting and data collection
  • Contributing to the team's overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clients
  • Working with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and adhering to the NDIS and company code of conduct
  • Being responsive, reliable, and accountable to our clients and your team

What we offer:

  • Part-time/Casual positions
  • Competitive Pay Rates up to $44.39/hour
  • Weekend Rate: up to $79.90

Qualification/Experience:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)
  • Background in Nursing is highly desirable
