Team Leader We are very excited and proud to be able to offer this position and an opportunity to join such a prestigious client who is exclusively working with Accord Appointments Ltd for this new project. The scope for career progression in this organisation is incredible, with a high staff retention and multiple success stories of growth within the business gives it a real family feel to the business. You will have individual development growth programmes with supportive teams to help you succeed. This is the platform to really make a difference to you and other people. Are you a people-focused leader who loves developing talent, celebrating success and turning challenges into opportunities? We’re looking for an ambitious Team Leader to join our team and lead a group of Mentors supporting young people. This is a role where your leadership will have a double impact — you’ll help your team grow in confidence and capability while giving them the support and direction they need to change young people’s lives. You’ll be the person your team looks to for energy, support, challenge and inspiration: * Lead, coach and develop a team of Mentors and Programme Coordinators. * Create a positive, ambitious culture where people feel valued and motivated. * Help your team turn great intentions into measurable results. * Use performance data and insight to spot opportunities and keep everyone moving forward. * Coach through regular one-to-ones, observations, feedback and development conversations. * Make sure participants receive the right support at every stage of their journey. * Build strong relationships with employers, business and local partners. * Share ideas and best practice to continually improve the service. * Recognise great performance while confidently addressing challenges when they arise. * Champion inclusion, safeguarding, quality and outstanding participant experiences. Key Skills & Experience You’ll have experience leading, coaching or supervising people, ideally within employability, youth services, customer service, welfare-to-work or another target-driven environment. Candidates that have experience in coaching, mentoring, employment, recruitment, resourcing, youth work, education, training or a similar type of support role then you will have in this job. More importantly, you’ll be someone who: * Gets the best out of people and genuinely enjoys developing others. * Leads with confidence, empathy and accountability. * Knows how to motivate a team through challenges and change. * Enjoys achieving targets but never loses sight of the people behind the numbers. * Confident making decisions and solving problems. * Uses data to understand performance and drive improvement. * Builds trust quickly with colleagues, employers and partners. * Is organised, resilient and ready to make things happen. Knowledge of employability, youth employment or the local labour market would be a bonus. You’ll have the opportunity to develop people, influence performance, introduce new ideas and create a team culture where success is shared and celebrated. This is an office-based role with regular travel across the local area
