Job Description

Responsible for the implementation of the overall revenue management strategies within the defined portfolio. Being a subject matter expert to the hotel teams, making sure that the current global corporate strategy is being implemented.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Delivers the service according to the contracted service agreements with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Creating hotel individual strategies with the goal of boosting revenue streams and maximizing KPI results.
  • Using the C.A.D.R.E method to ensure that the hotel strategy is implemented accordingly: Collection of reliable data, Analysis, Decision, Recommendation and Evaluation.
  • Ensures that revenue management systems and tools are properly implemented and maintained.
  • Ensures that planning and pricing is up to date for at least the next 405 days.
  • Competitor analysis: Analyses competitors in terms of content, pricing and strategy.
  • Analyses market share data with the goal to perform above the hotel market.
  • Forecast: Responsible for initiating short- and long-term revenue forecasts identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability.
  • Reports & Meetings: Prepare Daily, weekly and monthly reports and hold weekly and monthly meetings according to the individual service level of the hotel.
  • Analyses special event periods with the goal to improve results for future events.
  • Support: According to the individual service level agreement the RM supports and advises hotels on business and leisure rate collections as well as distribution contracts and group evaluations.
  • Communication: Is in charge to be the contact between the regional revenue manager, other members of the commercial development team and the local teams. Coordinates the communication and ensures that information is clearly understood and instructions are applied accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in tourism industry.
  • At least between 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proactivity & persuasion.
  • Flexibility & adaptation capacity.
  • Sense of relationship.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills.
  • Spoken and written English.
