We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, and relationship-driven Key Account Manager (TMC & Consortia) Global Sales to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you will lead the growth of our Travel Management Company (TMC) and Consortia business travel segment, managing a premium client portfolio.
Your primary mission is to build and maintain effective, long-term relationships with key TMC & Consortia accounts and partners. By adopting a customer-centric approach, you will maximize Accor’s global revenue (both domestic and outbound) and continuously expand our market share.
Job Description
- Portfolio & Account Management
- Segment Growth: Maximize business travel segment growth within your assigned TMC & Consortia portfolio.
- Strategic Planning: Produce and execute comprehensive Annual Sales Activity Plans tailored to each managed client.
- Contract Negotiation: Handle local partner contracting and oversee global agreements where applicable.
- Financial & Performance Tracking: Monitor portfolio and individual client performance to ensure steady revenue growth. Take the lead on marketing funds and invoicing processes for globally managed accounts.
- Strategic Marketing: Engage, plan, and execute high-impact marketing initiatives alongside your clients to support business objectives.
- Commercial & Market Relationships
- Cultivate outstanding commercial relationships with major global and regional TMC and Consortia players.
- Actively position and establish yourself as a key industry expert within your target markets.
- Participate in industry association meetings and represent Accor at professional network events.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Projects
- Partner closely with Global Sales, Regional TMC Key Account Managers, and Corporate Sales teams to ensure alignment.
- Participate in and drive key strategic projects as required by the business.
- Manage assigned budgets responsibly, staying strictly within cost parameters.
Qualifications
- Education: A University Degree or a Diploma from a recognized Business or Hotel School.
- Industry Footprint: Well-established within the corporate, agency, or TMC market in the UK region.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of global business travel dynamics, distribution chains (GDS, SBT, connectivity solutions), and hospitality sales systems.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Analytical Capabilities: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of driving commercial results.
- Key Competencies: High proactivity, persuasiveness, adaptability, strong team spirit, and a highly customer-focused mindset.
