Based in London, within the Data & BI department, reporting to our Senior Data Analyst, we’re looking for a

Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their analytics career who enjoys working with data and wants to develop their technical skills, commercial understanding and confidence working with stakeholders.

You’ll work alongside experienced analysts and engineers, helping to turn data into clear reports, dashboards and insights that support teams across the business.

The role will give you exposure to data from a range of business areas, including finance, revenue, marketing, operations and guest behaviour, while helping you build strong foundations in reporting, analysis and modern data practices.

Job Description

What you'll do...

  • Support the creation, maintenance and improvement of reports, dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Domo.
  • Assist with regular and ad-hoc reporting requests, helping stakeholders access the information they need.
  • Collaborate with the wider Data & BI team and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Write and adapt SQL queries to retrieve, check and analyse data from our data warehouse.
  • Help ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable by investigating issues and highlighting discrepancies.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities that support business decisions.
  • Work with experienced analysts to investigate business questions and turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Document reporting processes and support the maintenance of reporting standards.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • 0–2 years’ experience in a data, reporting or analytics role, or equivalent experience gained through a placement, internship or university project or relevant self-led learning.
  • Good Excel skills, including working with data, formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work logically through questions and issues.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain data and technical concepts in a simple and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.
  • Quick to learn new tools, technical concepts and ways of working.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with SQL, databases or data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with reporting or visualisation tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Expose to cloud data platforms would be an advantage.
  • An interest in hospitality, or previous experience within the hotel industry.
