Job Description: Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you: Your role is to handle the day-to-day M&E group enquiries on behalf of the business, focusing on the UK and other ENA markets (France, DACH, EE). You take a proactive and reactive approach to B2B enquiries – from direct corporates to third-party agents – liaising with hotels across ENA and the global network, using Back You and Anais (Salesforce) to drive conversion and hit annual M&E targets.
Your mission:
- Group booking requests
- Answer M&E booking requests and follow up RFPs by phone, email and online (B2B)
- Advise and recommend the hotels that best suit client needs and Accor sales priorities
- Stay organised and multi-task to handle several enquiries at once
Relationships:
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, hotels and sales teams
- Increase sales and improve confirmation and realization ratios
- Negotiate prices with clients and hotels
GSE strategy:
- Support the implementation and achievement of the GSE strategy and targets
- Stay up to date on market information, trends and competitors
- Make full use of the GSE tools – Back You and Anais (Salesforce)
- Attend internal and external M&E and sales events when required
Tools and teamwork:
- Work with Salesforce (Anais) and Back You – full training provided
- Work within a team with a proactive, result-oriented approach and strong customer focus
- Help drive conversion and achieve the annual M&E targets
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years in M&E hotel sales, banqueting or a MICE / DMC agency, ideally at hotel or central level handling M&E group enquiries.
- Fluent English, Spanish is a plus
- Strong M&E market knowledge (UK / ENA)
- Good organizational skills and geographical knowledge of Europe
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
