Your Mission: Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and based in London, you will support the Hotel Finance team in steering the financial performance of a portfolio of approximately 60 hotels (subsidiaries & franchises). You will provide responsive and rigorous financial support to the operational teams, whilst contributing to the reliability of reporting, the standardisation of processes, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance and closely monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the hotels in your portfolio;
- Implement, carefully monitor, and administer financial procedures within the hotels;
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in close collaboration with the operational teams.
Your Responsibilities in Detail:
- Financial Reporting: contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports for owners and Corporate management, consolidate data, and ensure strict compliance with hospitality standards (USALI).
- Performance Analysis & Decision Support: supporting the Hotel Finance team, monitor performance & key KPIs, whilst tracking performance variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior year to raise alerts where necessary.
- Administrative Coordination: maintain and continuously improve the tracking of deliverables and compliance with financial rules, whilst ensuring the proper renewal of contracts.
- Budget & Forecast: actively participate in the annual budget preparation campaign and periodic forecasting exercises, consolidate and review the consistency of financial assumptions submitted by hotels in light of risks & opportunities.
- Business Partnering & Support: act as the main point of contact for financial matters for the hotels in your portfolio, support local teams with their financial queries, and build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Optimisation: actively participate in the digitalisation, automation, and standardisation of financial models and FP&A templates to improve the team's efficiency.
- Payment Methods & Banking Processes: support the monitoring of payment methods and the coordination of banking processes associated with the hotel portfolio.
About You:
- Holding a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or graduated from a Business School, you have already proved your capabilities through a first solid experience in FP&A, management controlling, or financial analysis (ideally in the hospitality or asset management sector).
- An highly advanced level in Excel, enabling you to process, model, and analyse large volumes of complex data with ease, whilst ensuring meticulous formatting.
- Proficiency in or good knowledge of accounting systems and management & reporting tools: EPM, SunSystems, Power BI, Power Query.
- Well-structured with a strong attention to detail to guarantee data quality and meet deadlines.
- Curious & proactive, you seek to understand the 'why' behind the numbers and to improve your tools.
- Depending on your interlocutor, you know how to adapt your communication style and simplify complex financial concepts for non-specialists.
- Due to the highly international environment, it is essential that you speak fluent English. If you speak French as well, it would be a big plus.
