Company Description

We are looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist to join our Data Team to assist with the Digital & E-commerce function in London. This role is central to how we measure, understand and optimise digital performance across our global portfolio of hotels, membership and F&B outlets.

You will own our website, booking engine and app analytics and tracking ecosystem, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and usability across platforms, markets and brands. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and our Product & Engineering teams (across the website, booking engine and app), you'll establish best-practice tracking foundations, leverage AI-powered analytics to automate reporting and monitoring, and turn complex data into actionable insights that support commercial decision-making.

As part of the role, you'll help evolve our analytics capability by identifying opportunities to reduce manual reporting, introduce automation, and apply AI to uncover trends, anomalies and opportunities that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Job Description

What You'll Do

Analytics & Tracking Ownership

  • Own and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM), including marketing tags, custom events and tracking enhancements.
  • Manage GA4 implementations across multiple brands, hotels and F&B outlets, ensuring best practice configuration and data integrity.
  • Manage custom events, implement tracking updates and run tracking tests to support new features, campaigns and platform updates.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance tracking and data collection to enable advanced analytics, AI-driven insights and predictive reporting.

Tracking Standards & Best Practice (Product + Engineering Partnership)

  • Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams (website, booking engine and app) to establish consistent, scalable ways of tracking user behaviour and conversion performance.
  • Define and maintain a best-practice approach to custom event tracking, ensuring measurement reflects evolving platform needs and industry standards.
  • Support the delivery of new digital experiences by ensuring tracking requirements are embedded early in the development lifecycle (from specification through QA and release).
  • Design tracking frameworks that support AI-powered analysis, automation and future machine learning use cases.

Data Consistency, Governance & Automation

  • Maintain consistent default channel groupings, UTM structures and tracking standards across all digital touchpoints.
  • Act as the guardian of analytics documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams and paid media agencies.
  • Develop and maintain automated data validation and quality monitoring processes to proactively identify tracking issues and anomalies.
  • Champion the use of AI-assisted data governance to improve data quality, documentation and operational efficiency.

Reporting, Insights & AI Enablement

  • Build, maintain and enhance Looker Studio dashboards for stakeholders across Digital, E-commerce, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Commercial teams.
  • Work within our data team to define reporting, dashboarding and data visualisation across Ennismore's internal reporting tools.
  • Help establish robust approaches to website revenue attribution, including the measurement and reporting of e-commerce KPIs.
  • Transform manual reporting processes into automated, self-service dashboards and AI-assisted reporting solutions that reduce effort while improving speed and consistency.
  • Develop intelligent monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively identify performance changes, anomalies and errors.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive conversion optimisation, customer experience and commercial growth.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, analytics platforms and automation capabilities, recommending and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and business insight.
  • Evaluate new opportunities to apply predictive analytics and intelligent automation within the digital analytics ecosystem.

Collaboration & Agency Management

  • Coordinate with digital paid media agencies to ensure accurate and consistent tracking across paid channels for both hotels and F&B outlets.
  • Partner with internal Digital, E-commerce, Brand, Product and Engineering teams to align tracking with business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence and Data teams to identify opportunities where AI and automation can enhance reporting and analytics across the organisation.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' proven experience in digital analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, from e-commerce funnel setup to creating containers from scratch.
  • Experience working with Looker Studio (Data Studio), Tableau, DOMO or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing tracking, attribution and e-commerce measurement.
  • Experience designing automated reporting solutions and reducing manual reporting through data visualisation, scripting or workflow automation.
  • Good understanding of analytics tools and how they can be applied to automate reporting, accelerate analysis, improve data quality and surface commercial insights.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate workflows, generate insights and enhance reporting.
  • An interest in predictive analytics, anomaly detection and AI-driven monitoring, with a curiosity to explore new technologies that improve decision-making.
  • Confidence working with agencies and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for data accuracy, continuous improvement and leveraging AI to modernise analytics capabilities.
