Lead the Maintenance function at the Hotel providing both reactive and proactive multi‑skilled service on all operational equipment and hotel infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating planned schedules and overseeing adherence and timely completion of work.
  • Increasing site operational effectiveness, improving project delivery, reducing equipment failure and room downtime.
  • Managing and implementing improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met.
  • Managing continuous improvement of maintenance services by recommending changes where necessary.
  • Ensuring maintenance is completed with effective use of resources.
  • Identifying potential lifecycle deficiencies and producing capital budgets to match lifecycle expectancies.
  • Acting as the lead operational facilities manager, linking hotel management, regional technical and UK Technical Services.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours.

Qualifications:

  • Formal qualification in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical.
  • 3 years hotel maintenance experience.
  • H&S trained (IBOSH).
  • Ability to read and write risk assessments.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools and Outlook.
  • Hands‑on plumbing knowledge: fixing bathroom leaks, changing flush tanks, changing toilet bowls.
  • Electrical knowledge.
  • Painting and decoration skills.
  • Energy management.
