The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong network, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Proactively source new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to promote Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue across rooms, F&B, and events.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by optimizing sales opportunities in corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to ensure optimal pricing and inventory management.
- Analyze competitor trends, market conditions, and guest feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, and industry events to increase brand visibility.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts while maintaining brand positioning.
- Handle client inquiries efficiently and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure seamless coordination between clients and operational teams for exceptional guest experiences.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Events, and Revenue teams to develop targeted promotions and campaigns.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, pipeline management, and sales conversions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4-6 years of sales experience in luxury hotels or hospitality.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop business and achieve revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of corporate, MICE, and leisure market segments.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales management tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
