Job Description:
- Attend to all guests promptly and efficiently in a professional manner.
- Update details of regular guests using Guest History.
- Action all diary events, flags, and specials.
- Manage guest mail, messages, and parcels promptly.
- Liaise with Housekeeping regarding rooms and lost property.
- Be aware of daily worksheet and ensure its use.
- Ensure accuracy of account postings and produce necessary paperwork.
- Perform a cashiering balance at the end of shifts.
- Maintain security procedures according to policy.
- Report safety hazards.
- Handle complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Perform any other duties requested by the Front Office Manager.
- Provide a proper welcome to callers and guests.
- Complete audit tasks as specified by the Night Auditor's checklist.
- Answer incoming calls promptly.
- Distribute reports.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with related paperwork.
- Assist staff inquiries and seek help if needed.
- Process wake-up calls.
- Pass on shift handovers accurately.
- Report any shift inconsistencies to the Front Office Manager.
- Follow grooming, performance, conduct, health, safety, and emergency procedures as per policies.
- Perform other duties within competence, including conference setup and PA cleaning when required.
Qualifications:
- English speaking.
