Job Description
The Marketing Executive will support the delivery of engaging, on‑brand digital content, with a primary focus on social media management and content creation. At the heart of this role is storytelling. Capturing and sharing the moments, people, and experiences that define Fairmont St Andrews, and translating them into content that inspires, connects, and drives engagement. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in bringing the brand to life across social and digital channels, while also supporting the wider marketing function. From ideation to execution, you will help shape how the hotel shows up. Ensuring content and communications are visually compelling, emotionally engaging, and reflective of a luxury guest experience. This role is ideal for a creative and detail‑oriented marketer with a passion for content creation, a strong visual eye, and an instinct for storytelling within a premium brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of the social media strategy across all platforms, ensuring content is consistent, engaging, and aligned with brand tone of voice.
- Create high‑quality, on‑brand content including photography, short‑form video, reels, and stories that bring the Fairmont St Andrews experience to life.
- Capture real‑time content across the resort, including guest experiences, events, seasonal moments, and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling.
- Write engaging, story‑led captions and copy that reflect the brand voice and drive audience interaction.
- Schedule and publish content across social media channels, maintaining a consistent and considered content calendar.
- Monitor social media channels, responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional, and brand‑aligned manner.
- Track content performance and engagement, providing insights and recommendations to optimise future content.
- Support influencer and media visits, assisting with coordination, on‑property hosting, and ensuring content opportunities are maximised and aligned with brand storytelling.
- Liaise with external designers and agency partners where required, and support with the adaptation and resizing of artwork for different platforms and campaigns.
- Assist in the creation and rollout of wider marketing campaigns, including website updates, email marketing, and in‑house collateral.
- Collaborate across departments to uncover and share authentic stories, from spa and golf to food & beverage and guest experiences.
- Support the coordination of photoshoots and content days, including planning, logistics, and on‑site assistance.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support to the team, including asset management, reporting assistance, and campaign coordination as required.
- Ensure all content and marketing activity aligns with Fairmont and Accor brand standards, while showcasing the unique sense of place of Fairmont St Andrews.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a marketing, social media, or content creation role (hospitality or lifestyle brand preferred).
- A meticulous approach with a strong eye for detail, ensuring all content, communications and administrative tasks are accurate, polished, refined and on‑brand.
- A strong creative eye with the ability to capture and edit high‑quality Fairmont brand standard photo and video content.
- Confident using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and associated tools.
- Experience with content creation tools and editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar).
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a natural flair for storytelling and an engaging writing style.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to be present across the resort to capture content.
- An understanding of social media trends and a curiosity to experiment with new formats and ideas.
- Basic understanding of social media metrics and performance tracking.
- A genuine passion for luxury hospitality, lifestyle, and creating meaningful brand moments through content.
