As a Groups & Reservations Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience from the very first interaction. Acting as the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will guide them through the booking process, manage guest relationships, and ensure a seamless reservations experience. As a supervisor, you will be working closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. Previous experience in reservations and knowledge of the Opera Property Management System are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Making, modifying, and managing guest reservations.
- Coordinating group bookings, including preparing quotations, issuing contracts, processing payments, and overseeing all related administration.
- Building relationships with prospective guests, groups, and corporate clients.
- Liaising effectively with all hotel departments to ensure guest requirements are communicated and delivered.
- Supporting the day-to-day management and development of the reservations department alongside the Front Office Manager.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring all guest enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Assisting with team supervision, training, and maintaining departmental standards.

- Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling.
- Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests.
- Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a similar role preferred.
- Good knowledge of Opera systems.
- Confidence with dealing with incoming calls/emails.
Additional Information
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
