Job Description
- Process and input group reservations following hotel reservations policy.
- Follow-up on all the groups starting from inquiry to actualization and keep track of the payment and cancellation deadlines.
- Update and process any group’s agreed commission timely.
- Keep a check on the room inventory to maximize room sales.
- Answer all group related calls promptly, within 3 rings using specified greeting for hotel, in a courteous and efficient manner. Ensure that all relevant information is obtained. Answer all individual reservations related calls in the absence of the individual reservations coordinator.
- Monitor group room block status and update availability.
- Ensure all reservations are accurately actioned within the same working day.
- Check and update, as necessary, group rates in Opera cloud.
Qualifications
- Prior experience at reception / reservations is preferable but not mandatory
- Clear oral/written communication
- Exemplary time management and organizational skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable not necessary.
