We are looking for a Reception Team Leader who leads with warmth, confidence, and passion for service.

Your Role

As Reception Team Leader, you will be the heartbeat of our Front Office operation. Leading by example, you will support your team, ensure smooth daily operations, and create positive, memorable moments for our guests from arrival to departure. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the reception team to deliver friendly, efficient, and consistent service
  • Oversee front desk operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, billing, and guest enquiries
  • Act as a key point of contact for guests, handling feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and care
  • Manage rotas, shift coverage, end-of-day procedures, banking, and room reconciliation
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Support on-boarding and ongoing development of team members
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance, quality, and guest satisfaction targets
  • Ensure compliance with Accor standards, hotel procedures, and health & safety requirements
  • Step in to support Food & Beverage operations when needed during busy periods

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

  • Follow Accor Health, Safety, and Environment policies at all times
  • Take part in required training and report hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly
  • Support fire, evacuation, food hygiene, and safe working practices
  • Contribute to risk assessments, energy conservation, and correct use of equipment

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a team leader or supervisory role within hospitality
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel or guest-facing environment
  • A natural people-leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • Confident using hotel systems and Microsoft Office
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and making every guest feel welcome
  • Right to work in the UK is essential (sponsorship is not available)
