Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.25/hour USD

Job Description Motivate staff and create a positive, cohesive team to deliver exceptional service. Maintain complete knowledge of hotel standards as well as departmental standards. Knowledgeable of correct use and maintenance of all equipment. Ensure cleanliness is maintained by all employees. Full understanding of all banquet menus and beverages specified by the group. Be flexible and able to respond quickly to client needs. Pay attention to all details of the event. Supervise staff to ensure successful banquet events. Train staff and maintain high performance according to hotel standards. Assist as needed to ensure optimum guest service. Stay informed about daily features and activities within the hotel. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Follow directions from clients, Banquet Director, and Catering and Conference Services Manager. Execute banquet events with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications Banquet serving experience required; supervisory experience preferred. Culinary training is a plus. High school diploma; some college preferred. Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Certification in alcohol awareness and CPR preferred. Effective communication skills in English. Proficiency with Micros and manual systems. Strong organizational skills to lead successful events. Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements Lift a minimum of 20 lbs. Stand for 95% of shift; occasional sitting for paperwork. Reach, bend, and lift regularly.

Additional Requirements Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per standards.
